Fabrics for printing

Terms of use

General printing, storage and usage of textiles for printing

Tolerance

All materials, especially knitted fabrics and, are subject to certain manufacturing deviations with respect to the weight, colour, width and other properties.

In order to minimize differences while printing we recommend to always use materials from only one production batch in one process.

Defects

Because of specific methods of textile production, drawbacks are inevitable. Small spots, minor knitting errors, are an integral part of these materials and therefore we allow the occurrence of 2-3 irregularities on each piece.

Shrinkage due to the high temperature

Synthetic materials may shrink during the processes requiring high temperatures. Shrinkage may vary depending on the material, its structure and the process to which the product is subjected to printing: heating, steaming, calendering, etc. That’s why all our materials are going through thermostabilization in temp. 210 ° C, so that regardless of the type of print technology, shrinkage is less than 1%.

Flame retardant On client request knitted materials can be treated with flame retardants during the finishing process. Our products leaving the factory with FAP finishing are certified with B1 (DIN 4102). However, depending on the technology used for printing and related diversity of possible processes and available inks, the initial non-flammable index may change. In case of doubt, we recommend testing the textiles after printing.
Transport & Storage In order to avoid damages of textiles (eg. As a result of pressure, etc.) Rolls should be transported and stored in horizontal position in their original packaging. We do not recommend storing of textiles in the open air area. The long impact of weather conditions such as high humidity or sunlight, can cause a change in the whiteness and deterioration of the properties of textiles, especially in those dedicated to the direct printing
Printing and colour fastness Printing and colour fastness (friction resistance, fastness to light, washability, etc.) is always combined effect of all the components that are involved (printer, ink type, method of preservation, protection, transportation, storage, environmental factors such as humidity, sunlight, temperature, etc.). For this reason any change of the component should be pre-checked before printing, by special tests
Impact on health and environment We use only the textile auxiliaries, dyes and chemicals that are certified and approved for use with the relevant provisions for such materials.
Environmental protection Our company is taking care of the environment, not only by reducing the consumption of raw materials and energy, but also strives to choose the most environmentally friendly and non-toxic substances for finishing our knitted fabrics.
